Getting started

In order to access data in the WEAVE Achive System, you will first need a user account. If you are a member of the WEAVE Consortium or an authorised extermal collaborator, you can use the registration form to request one.

Requesting an account

Sign-up form

If you are a member of one or more of the WEAVE science teams or you are an authorised external collaborator, please choose the science team (or one of the teams) to which you belong, so that appropriate permissions can be established. If you are a member of two or more WEAVE science teams, please choose one for requesting your account, and email weave.consortium-support@ing.iac.es with a list of the science teams you are a member of.

Survey list

If you are a WEAVE Open-Time PI or a member of an Open-Time PI team, please make sure to correctly specify the survey or program name (i.e. "WS2025A1-XXX") for which you would like to access the data.

Once you have submitted the registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email and your request will be reviewed by an administrator. You will be notified once your account is created.

Open-Time

If you requested observation time through the ING as an Open-Time PI, your WAS user account will be created automatically once the proposal is accepted. The email address and user data used to create your account will be the same as what was provided in your proposal. If you already have a WAS account, you can continue using the same account as before; otherwise, you will need to create a password using the password recovery form on the login page.

If you were a co-I on a WEAVE Open-Time proposal or a colleague “authorised” by the PI to have access to your WEAVE data, please fill out the account request form, specifying the name of the program assigned to the PI in the Open-Time field.

First login

If you already have an account, or have received an email confirming that your account has been created, you will be able to access your account via the login page.

Login form

Once you are logged in, you will be redirected to the main menu of the WEAVE Archive System.
